Small Steps 1 (2021/2022)

'Small Steps' is a new Dundee Women's Trail leaflet created by Dundee school pupils, to support children and families to learn more about some of the notable women connected to our city.

The outreach project worked with over 125 children from Rosebank Primary School, Our Lady’s RC Primary School and St. Joseph’s RC Primary School. Primary 5 classes worked with a team of artists to learn about a selection of the women featured in the original Dundee Women’s trail. Through portraiture, storytelling and comics the children created and imagined what life would have been like for these women and these works informed the 'Small Steps' leaflet.

This project has been in partnership with the Dundee Women’s Trail, Dundee School Library Service and The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum.
