The McManus offers a programme of arts and heritage activities which aims to increase access, understanding and enjoyment of the museum collections and to encourage learning for all. Our activities include facilitated tours and Creative Learning workshops.
Self-Directed Tours
Self-led but can be planned with input from museum staff and please let us know when you intend to visit by contacting the Creative Learning Team. Educators packs for Group Leaders covering our permanent displays can be downloaded here.
Facilitated Tours
Guided tours must be booked in advance and last approx 30 to 40 minutes. You may request a general tour of the museum which includes all galleries or alternatively, explore a particular gallery or exhibition.
Creative Learning Workshops for Community Groups
Includes a short tour followed by a themed 'hands on' creative workshop in the Learning Studio.
