Got an object from a Dundee night out? The McManus wants to hear from you
The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum is inviting people across Dundee to share their objects from nights out in the city, as part of a major new exhibition opening later this year.
Dundee Nights, running from 5 December 2026 to 5 September 2027, will celebrate the city after dark, exploring how generations of Dundonians have come together to socialise, celebrate and be entertained.
The exhibition will tell the story of Dundee nightlife from the days of music halls through to modern times, covering cinema, dance halls, the heyday of Caird Hall and more.
To help bring these stories to life, the team at The McManus is looking for objects linked to nights out in the city. Contributions could include ticket stubs and programmes, photographs and memorabilia…
